The university lights up new stars!

According to the glorious tradition, the Tan Sholpan Regional Vocal Performance Competition was held at Kozybayev University for the 15th time. This celebration of music and creativity has long been loved not only by the audience, but also by fellow musicians. This is evidenced by the fact that for the second year in a row it has been included in the pool of competitions taken into account when certifying teaching staff. This confirms his importance and professional level.

As the organizers from the Department of Musical Disciplines noted, many Tan Sholpan participants of the past years have achieved significant success at other competition venues and "big" stages. These are Kazakh pop star Isa Alimusayev, Astana Opera artists Asia Yashenkina, Ainagul Nurmoldina, singer of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akhmet Seitakhmetov, soloists of the North Kazakhstan Regional Philharmonic Denis Baturinets, Medet Ibadullayev and many others.

This time, more than 30 young vocalists from Astana, Stepnogorsk, Kyzylorda, Petropavlovsk and the districts of North Kazakhstan region competed on stage: Magzhan Zhumabayev, Kyzylzharsky, Mamlyutsky, Akkayynsky. For the first time, a representative of the People's Republic of China became a participant. All of them were divided into categories, competing in solo performance and as part of ensembles.

As a result, the winners were:

Solo. Category "College and university students" - Aruzhan Tolebai G.Astana (Kazakhstan International Linguistic College);

- Irina Ivanova (M.Kozybaev Moscow State University, OP "Musical Education");

- Diana Bolysbaeva (The College of Arts Complex is a specialized boarding school for children gifted in art named after Ermeka Serkebayeva");

- Evgeniya Glukhykh (Magzhan Zhumabayev Higher College)

Ensembles. Category "College and university students"The 1st place was taken by two teams of the Complex "College of Arts – a specialized boarding school for gifted children in art named after Ermeka Serkebayeva:

Angelina Arakelova, a student at the Institute of language and literature , captivated the jury and the audience with Christina Aguilera's vocally complex composition "Hurt". She won the Grand Prix of the Tan Sholpan competition!
