Professors from Quaid-i-Azam University conducted a practical seminar at Kozybayev University. Professors Riffat Naseem Malik and Shujaul Mull Khan provided valuable recommendations to North Kazakhstan researchers on how to design, write, and publish scientific articles in internationally recognized journals.
Having an extensive experience, the speakers discussed international standards such as IMRAD, and emphasized the importance of the title, abstract, and keywords as the “business card” of a research article. They also covered proper formatting, academic style, common writing mistakes, correct citation practices, plagiarism prevention, and criteria for selecting Scopus-indexed journals. Successful publication examples were also presented.
Both professors are highly recognized scholars in their fields.
