Global Experience Exchange: Kozybayev University Participates in ASIIN Webinar

Kozybayev University joined the international webinar “Global Challenges in Quality Assurance and the Power of Network Solutions”, organized by the Global Network of Universities of Excellence ASIIN. The network brings together leading universities worldwide that have undergone accreditation by the reputable German agency ASIIN, reflecting a high standard of educational quality. It is worth noting that six engineering and IT programs at Kozybayev University have received ASIIN accreditation.

The webinar featured keynote speakers including Klaus Krajewicz, President of the ASIIN Board and Vice President of Munich University of Applied Sciences, as well as Professor Dr. Martina Zimmermann. They presented successful models of dual education and shared insights on modern research data management.

An interesting highlight was that in Germany, around 4% of students study in dual programs, while such programs account for approximately 9% of all educational offerings. The quality of dual education depends not only on universities but also on partner organizations, which must ensure appropriate conditions and maintain high training standards. Therefore, clearly defined requirements for partner institutions are essential.

Special attention was also given to research data management. Today, it plays a key role in scientific development: reliable systems for storing and sharing data make research more transparent, reproducible, and open to international collaboration.

Participation in such events enables Kozybayev University to exchange experience, learn from global experts, and strengthen its position in the international academic space.
