Kudaibergen Kaliyev Awarded the Title of Honorary Professor of the University

An open lecture titled “Lessons of Personality: The Importance of Honest Work and Service to the People” was held at Kozybayev University in honor of the 80th anniversary of Kudaibergen Kaliyev.

Kudaibergen Kaliyev is an Honorary Citizen of the North Kazakhstan Region, a Veteran of Labour, and an Honored Figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Throughout his distinguished career, he progressed from a simple agronomist to Director of the North Kazakhstan regional branch of the Food Contract Corporation. Over the years, he also served as director of a state farm, First Deputy Akim of the North Kazakhstan Region, and Head of the Regional Statistics Department. He has been awarded the state orders “Parasat” and “Qurmet.” His contribution to the development of the North Kazakhstan Region has been truly significant.

During the event, Chairman of the Executive Board – Rector Yerbol Issakayev congratulated the anniversary celebrant and presented him with the certificate of Honorary Professor of the university.

Representatives of the regional and city Veterans’ Councils, colleagues, and longtime associates also delivered warm congratulatory speeches.

Addressing the students attending the lecture, Kudaibergen Kaliyev shared his extensive professional experience, spoke about his career path, and emphasized the importance of dedication to one’s profession, honest work, and serving the country with integrity.

At the conclusion of the event, participants planted a commemorative spruce tree dedicated to Honorary Professor Kudaibergen Kaliyev on the alley near the university’s main building.
