Kozybayev University Among the Top Universities in Asia

Kozybayev University has demonstrated a significant breakthrough in the QS Asia University Rankings 2026. Despite the expansion of the ranking to 1,526 universities and intensified competition, the university not only maintained its position but also showed notable progress across key indicators of educational quality.

Ranking 558th among Asian universities under these new competitive conditions confirms the sustainability of the university’s development strategy.

The most notable achievement is the strong growth in key performance indicators over the past year:

* Employer reputation increased by 60%.

* The international research network indicator improved twelvefold.

* Academic mobility (outbound exchange) recorded a sharp rise, from 24.3 to 49.4 points.

In the QS World University Rankings: Central Asia 2026, the university maintained strong positions, ranking 34th overall and 22nd among 44 universities in Kazakhstan.

This year, the university was also included in the QS World University Rankings 2026, which features only 20 universities from the country.

This progress has been made possible through the coordinated efforts of the university’s staff, comprehensive support from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and productive cooperation with international partners.
