Sports Excitement for Students’ Day

Volleyball and toğızqumalaq tournaments for students were held at Kozybayev University. The sporting events were timed to coincide with International Students’ Day. Over the course of two days, athletes from all faculties, the Institute of language and literature, the Foundation Program, and the International Campus showcased not only their skills in the games but also strong teamwork. Results of the team competition in Toğızqumalaq: 1st place – Pedagogical Faculty, 2nd place - Institute of language and literature, 3rd place - Faculty of history, economics and law. Winners in the Individual Competition: Äuelbai Ersultan (group FCS-M-25) and Elubaeva Saida (group NOIP (KZ-US)-23-K). In the volleyball matches among male students, eight faculty teams participated. The players demonstrated not only excellent athletic skills but also strong team spirit and determination to win. After intense matches, Pedagogical Faculty emerged as the champion. The silver medals went to Faculty of engineering and digital technology, and third place was taken by Agrotechnological faculty. The tournament’s Best Player award went to Pavel Sorokoladov (PF). Alan Kalipenov (FEDT) was named Best Attacker, while Adil Ospanov (AF) earned the title of Best Setter. They received memorable gifts. The event attracted a large number of participants and supporters, creating an atmosphere of sports excitement and friendly competition. The Sports Contest allowed students to showcase their athletic talents and strengthened inter-faculty connections.
