World Championship Bronze Medalist

Andrey Glyvyak, senior lecturer at the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, honored coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Master of Sports, won third place at the World Kettlebell Sport Championship in China.

The prestigious international competition took place in Haining from November 13 to 17. Representing our region, 14 kettlebell athletes competed as part of the national team, including 10 graduates of Kozybayev University from various years, who contributed medals to Kazakhstan’s team.

Andrey Glyvyak competed in the veteran and amateur categories in the +85 kg weight class, winning bronze medals in both. In addition, Andrey Yaroslavovich serves as the national team coach and played an active role in preparing the athletes for the championship.
