International Student Scientific Seminar “AI Application in Educational and Professional Activities” Held at Kozybayev University

On November 12, 2025, as part of Quality Week, Kozybayev University hosted the annual International Student Scientific Seminar “AI Application in Educational and Professional Activities,” organized by the Department of Foreign Languages. The event brought together participants from Kazakhstan, Russia, and China, demonstrating a strong interest among young researchers in artificial intelligence and its role across various fields.

The seminar opened with welcoming remarks from the Head of the Department of Foreign Languages, Laily Ismagambetova. The co-moderator of the event was senior lecturer Natalya Sheveleva.

Twelve presentations were prepared and delivered for the seminar, each generating considerable interest and numerous questions from the audience. According to the jury — senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages V.G. Stepanenko, lecturer K.G. Dzhanunts, and M.B. Teboyev — the following places were awarded:

1st place – Li Yujie, Wang Yijia – Northwest A&F University (China)
2nd place – Ospanov Tayyr – M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University (Kazakhstan)
2nd place – Zhazit Yeraly, Daniyar Beksultan – Academy of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Kazakhstan)
3rd place – Ryazanova Yuliya – Omsk State Pedagogical University (Russia)
3rd place – Akhmetzhan Baqdaulet & Botabekov Aktai – Academy of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Kazakhstan)
3rd place – Xu Haoze, Wang Yao – Northwest A&F University (China)

Participants presented research covering a wide range of topics: from the use of AI in robotics, daily life, and foreign-language learning to its role in military training, communication systems of the National Guard, environmental sustainability, and modern agricultural technologies. All project authors received diplomas, and academic supervisors were awarded certificates.

The seminar was held at a high methodological level and received positive feedback from faculty members of the Academy of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Omsk State Pedagogical University. They emphasized the importance of such international events for developing students’ scientific potential, fostering global professional thinking, and strengthening academic cooperation between countries.
