Kozybayev University at the Career Guidance Session “World of Professions”

A career guidance session titled “World of Professions” was held at the Palace of Schoolchildren, aimed at helping students of the North Kazakhstan Region make a thoughtful choice about their future specialization.

Educational institutions of the region presented their stands, where they showcased the advantages of studying at their establishments. School students were able to receive detailed consultations on each educational program, career guidance brochures and other handouts.

Representatives of Kozybayev University spoke about the dual degree programs with the University of Arizona, as well as the faculties and fields of study. They also introduced students to the admission requirements and language testing procedures. All of this helps prospective applicants navigate the requirements of the modern labor market and provides the necessary support for their professional self-determination.

Aigul Nurpeissova, Member of the Board for Academic Affairs, emphasized to high school students and college graduates the opportunities of dual education at the university: “For the second year in a row, we have been implementing dual education programs. This allows our students to receive practice-oriented training directly at enterprises in the North Kazakhstan and Kostanay regions. Students receive both a scholarship and a salary, and upon graduation they already have work experience, a diploma, and a guaranteed job placement.”

During the session, representatives of the region’s key educational institutions also noted that since 2025 has been declared the Year of Working Professions, special attention is being given to technical, engineering, medical, service, and agricultural specialties.
