Sport Against Drugs

Kozybayev University hosted a crossbar pull-up tournament titled “Sport Against Drugs”, aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle and preventing harmful habits. More than 60 students, faculty members, and university staff took part in the competition.

The athletes demonstrated strength, endurance, and their sportsmanship while competing for valuable prizes, medals, and certificates. The tournament became a vivid example of how sport brings people together and motivates them to choose health and an active lifestyle.

Student competition results:

1st place — Danila Svirzhevsky — 36 pull-ups

2nd place — Alikhan Tastanbekov — 30 pull-ups

3rd place — Andrey Lopatin — 27 pull-ups

Faculty and staff results:

1st place — Alexander Naumov (Senior Lecturer, Department of Physical Culture) — 48 pull-ups

2nd place — Dmitry Kuzmenko (Senior Lecturer, Department of Physical Culture) — 40 pull-ups

3rd place — Pavel Pritolyuk (Senior Lecturer, Department of Journalism) — 16 pull-ups
