Head of the Department of Foreign Languages of Kozybayev University Participated in an International Conference in Tyumen
On December 3–4, 2025, Lyaili Shokatovna Ismagambetova, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages at Manash Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University, took part in person in the international scientific and practical conference “Foreign Language Training in Higher Education: New Paradigms, Digital Technologies, Practical Solutions”, held in Tyumen at the Tyumen Higher Military Engineering Command School named after Marshal of Engineering Troops A. I. Proshlyakov.
The conference brought together representatives of the academic community, university lecturers, and practitioners from various countries and served as a platform for discussing current trends in the development of higher education, digitalization of learning, intercultural communication, and inclusive educational practices.
Within the framework of the conference, Lyaili Shokatovna delivered a presentation focused on the challenges of teaching English in an inclusive educational environment. In her speech, she emphasized that modern approaches to foreign language education require flexible methodological solutions that take into account the diversity of learners’ educational needs.
Special attention was paid to the development of foreign language communicative competence among students with special educational needs, the use of adapted tasks and accessible teaching materials, and the creation of a supportive and tolerant learning environment. The role of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), as well as the use of digital and multimodal resources as tools for increasing learner motivation and instructional effectiveness, was also highlighted. The ideas presented sparked considerable interest among conference participants and formed the basis for professional discussion.
Following the discussion, participants addressed issues related to teacher training for inclusive education, adaptation of translation tasks, and prospects for interdisciplinary interaction among linguistics, pedagogy, and special education.
Participation in the international conference made it possible to present the experience of Manash Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University on the international academic stage, expand professional contacts, and identify new directions for the further scientific, methodological, and educational activities of the Department of Foreign Languages.
