Traditional Winter School for Faculty and Staff

The course “Artificial Intelligence in the Transformation of the Modern University” is designed for 72 hours.

The School is organized to develop and enhance professional competencies in the practical application of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI), which are necessary for modernizing the educational process, increasing the productivity of research activities, and optimizing management decisions in the context of the university’s digital transformation. Participation in the professional development course is free of charge for all attendees.

“We have included additional modules in the program: science, the social sector, and pedagogy. We are working on these together with the National Center for Professional Development ‘Orleu’. Last year, together with colleagues, we also traveled to Almaty, where we studied a course on the use of AI in higher education at ALT University. Now, based on the results of that training, we would like to share the knowledge and competencies we have gained with our colleagues at the Winter School,” noted Aigul Nurpeissova, Member of the Board for Academic Affairs.

From January 12 to 23, teaching staff, administrative and managerial personnel, heads of educational programs, and employees of Kozybayev University will be able to attend workshops, interactive lectures, and practical sessions. They will explore digital transformation strategies; no-code tools for creating simple chatbots to support students; NotebookLM as an AI analytics tool for the university; the principles and tools of the new standard of the Academic Integrity League; and will enhance their hard skills in creating lectures, tests, and audio reviews based on raw data in NotebookLM, and much more.

Upon completion, participants will receive relevant certificates.
