Applications Open for the Study Arizona Program for 3rd-Year Dual Degree Students at Kozybayev University and The University of Arizona

Dear 3rd-year students of the Kozybayev University and The University of Arizona dual-degree program,

The selection process for the Study Arizona exchange program has officially launched! This is your opportunity to spend a semester studying abroad at the University of Arizona main campus.

Key Information

• Available Spots: A total of 30 spots are available, evenly distributed across three majors, 10 spots each: Biotechnology, Information Systems, and Inclusive Education.
• Evaluation Criteria: Candidates will be assessed on a 100-point scale based on four components: Academic performance (GPA at both KU and U of A), a portfolio of university achievements, a motivational essay written in English, and faculty evaluations.
• Eligibility Requirements: To apply, you must be in good academic standing (no current failing grades or academic debts) and have a clean disciplinary record. You must also hold a valid international passport or ensure you obtain one before the U.S. visa application deadline.

The selection process is coordinated by the International Campus office. Detailed information, along with the official Policy and Guidelines for the 2026–2027 Study Arizona selection, will be sent out via email newsletter.

Application Window: Applications will be accepted from 2:00 PM on May 19, 2026, until 11:59 PM on May 25, 2026.

Please Note: For students who do not pass the selection process or who voluntarily opt out of the Study Arizona trip, classes will be delivered in a blended format (combining online and offline instruction) without traveling to the U.S.
