Academic Integrity League
M. Kozybayev NKU was admitted to the League of academic integrity on November 7, 2018 by the decision of the General meeting of members of the Academic Integrity League. Academic Integrity League, founded on August 28, 2018, is a voluntary Association of universities in Kazakhstan.
Currently, the League consists of 12 universities. The main goal of the League is to improve the quality of education by implementing and promoting the principles of academic integrity.
The mission of the League is to improve the quality of education by implementing and promoting the ten fundamental principles of academic integrity.
Values of the League: honesty, responsibility and transparency. The League implements its goals by creating an institutional environment, i.e. internal bodies, forming standards of academic integrity and multi-vector cooperation.
The League's Board develops standards of academic integrity. At the moment, the Council has developed Standards for evaluating student learning outcomes, evaluating journals recommended by the League for publishing research results based on the League's General criteria,monitoring and screening procedures for higher education institutions, and organizing the educational process using credit technology.
Implementation of the principles of the Academic Integrity League at the M. Kozybayev NKU
Normative base:
1. The Academic policy of M. Kozybayev NKU is a system of measures, rules and procedures for planning and managing educational activities and the effective organization of the educational process aimed at implementing student-oriented learning and improving the quality of education.
2. The Rules of Academic integrity of M. Kozybayev NKU. In 2019, a new version of the Rules was developed and put into effect, in which, in accordance with the recommendations of the League, new sections were included.
3. Comprehensive action plan for the implementation of the principles of the Academic Integrity League at M. Kozybayev NKU for the 2020-2021 academic year.
