Relevance:The conducted research confirms that despite the rather slow implementation of the ideas of the subject-language integrated learning technology recognized in Europe, various approaches and models of CLIL are increasingly being developed and implemented in the Kazakh education system in the field of education. The abilities that make up the core of research competence, the principles of the educational process in the CLIL format have been studied and identified; methodological recommendations on the use of CLIL technology have been developed on the basis of pedagogical experiments.
The purpose of the project: To develop a model of subject-language integrated learning in the process of teaching English, focused on the formation of cognitive-linguistic competence of students, the introduction of which will contribute to achieving the goals and improving the quality of the updated content of the educational system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Expected results: Drawing up a model of subject-language integrated learning, developing methodological recommendations and teaching aids in this area, conducting an experiment on the formation of cognitive-linguistic competence of students. The studied theoretical sources will give a clear understanding of the essence of subject-language integration, the developed model will be effective and will solve the difficulties in implementing this approach in the educational process.
The methodological recommendations will be universally applicable for linguistic and non-linguistic specialists of secondary and higher education.
Project description: The project is focused on the development of cognitive and linguistic competence of students in order to improve the quality of teaching, which will allow in-depth implementation of subject-language integration into the educational environment, taking into account professional interaction: secondary school-university. It is planned to conduct a pedagogical experiment, the results of which will allow to form and identify the advantages and disadvantages of this approach in teaching, to justify its difference from other models. Theoretical and empirical methods will be used to obtain reliability and effectiveness.
