Department of Mathematics and Physics
In 1948, the Department of Physics and Mathematics was organized, consisting of 6 teachers, which formed the basis of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, headed by S.N. Chulkov. Over the years, the department has changed its name repeatedly. Since 2013, the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science has been functioning, which is headed by the Candidate of Ph.D. Tajigitov A.A. Over the entire period of the department's work, more than 4,000 specialist teachers have been trained. In 2018, the department opened the Master's degree programs «Mathematics» and «Computer Science». In 2019, a modern robotics classroom was purchased for conducting training sessions for students and undergraduates of the educational programs 6B01501 «Informatics», 6B01508 «Mathematics-Informatics», 6B01510 «Physics-Informatics», 6B01512 «Informatics and Robotics», 7M01501 «Informatics».
