Main goals and objectives

The main goal of the Kozybayev International Office (KIO) is to advance the university’s internationalization processes through the promotion of academic mobility and internships for students, faculty, and staff; the expansion of cooperation with foreign educational and research institutions; the development of international projects and programs; and the creation of a multilingual and multicultural academic environment that enhances the quality of education, supports research development, and fosters the professional growth of the university community.

To achieve this goal, KIO is responsible for the following tasks:

• Identifying international partners for global cooperation;
• Organizing visits of foreign delegations;
• Supporting the preparation and administration of international agreements;
• Providing organizational support for negotiations and meetings in the field of the university’s international cooperation;
• Ensuring informational and analytical support for the university’s international activities;
• Cooperating with domestic and foreign educational institutions on matters related to academic mobility;
• Processing documents for the departure and return of students and faculty members participating in academic mobility programs;
• Organizing invitations for foreign professors and researchers to deliver lectures, conduct classes, participate in joint research projects, and exchange academic experience;
• Organizing and supporting international internships for university faculty and students;
• Coordinating and supporting activities related to the “Bolashak” program;
• Collaborating with university units on international student recruitment;
• Providing organizational support for the university’s participation in international educational exhibitions;
• Ensuring comprehensive adaptation and support for international students;
• Developing and implementing short-term educational programs and internships for international students.
