Alevtina Alekseevna Raskatova was born on August 23, 1934. She worked as a senior lecturer at our university and devoted her life to science and pedagogy. A graduate of Perm State University, Alevtina Alekseevna began her teaching career in 1963 at North Kazakhstan State University (SKU), where she worked until 2009.
During her years of service, she taught courses such as:Methods of Teaching Biology (lectures, laboratory work, field practice, diploma, and course projects), Botany (lectures, laboratory work, field practice), Biological Experimentation in Schools, Modern Teaching Technologies, Extracurricular Biology Activities in Schools.
Throughout her career, Alevtina Alekseevna became one of the leading specialists in the faculty, actively engaging in scientific and methodological work. Her professional achievements include more than 20 published articles and several methodological manuals, widely recognized among biology teachers. Her research focused on Professional Practical Orientation in Preparing Students for School Work in General Biology. Based on this research, she authored the following methodological manuals:
For her long and fruitful work, she was awarded: The Excellence in Public Education badge, The Veteran of Labor medal. Honorary Diplomas and commendations from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Regional Department of Education, and the Institute for Advanced Teacher Training
The methodological manuals created by Raskatova are in high demand among biology teachers, reflecting her high level of professionalism and dedication to her field. Alevtina Alekseevna left a significant mark on the pedagogical and scientific community, serving as an example for future generations of educators and students.
