The tradition of celebrating World Quality Day at Alma Mater has been going on for 18 years. Usually, on the second week of November, all departments and faculties hold open classes, competitions, conferences, seminars and round tables, united by a common idea of Quality Week. Every year a different theme is chosen for it. This year it was dedicated to the implementation of the third mission of the university.
The term "Third mission of the University" refers to the contribution of the university to the development of society. As a rule, it includes three aspects of the university's activities: technology and innovation transfer, continuing education and social participation.
During the Quality Week, we held 28 events:
The final event was the presentation of the discipline "Service to Society". During its study, students implement about 40 social projects in various areas: helping orphans, the elderly, animals, caring for nature, etc.
