An introductory week for first-year students has started

Traditionally, the pre-academic week for first-year students is introductory. The admission process is already over, former applicants can breathe out and let go of all their worries. They are now students of Kozybayev University.

And before starting the educational process, the guys get to know the alma mater. The current study week was intense and was held in a remote format. Meetings of deans and heads of departments with students, online presentations of Kozybayev University were organized.

he first ones were told about the rules for using the library and open access databases, they were guided what services the SSRC provides. We spent a single curatorial hour: “Acquaintance with the peculiarities of the educational process of Kozybayev University”. Also, students were registered for academic disciplines and the level of their language competence was determined. We introduced IT volunteers to work with platforms and systems used by the university in the educational process using DLT.

The leisure of students is also rich in our university. There is a student club, a choreographic ensemble "Anturnan", a theater, a sports club "Sunkar" oversees more than 10 sports sections. This information also interested freshmen at online presentations.
