On holding a competition for the award of a scholarship of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a grant of academician Manash Kozybayev, a grant of the Rector of the M. Kozybayev NKU

Dear students!

According to the results of the winter examination session of the 2020-2021 academic year, a competition was announced for awarding a scholarship from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a grant from academician Manash Kozybayev, and a grant from the rector of the M. Kozybayev NKU.

Awarding of the scholarship of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

         In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 183 dated May 05, 2020 "On the distribution of the scholarship of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan between organizations of higher and postgraduate education for 2020", 27 (twenty seven) scholarships for students for a calendar year are distributed at M. Kozybayev NKSU.
         According to the "Rules for the appointment of scholarships established by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan" dated April 7, 2011 No. 136, the scholarship is assigned to full-time students from the 3rd year of study and above, who study only excellently (A, A-), both on the basis of a state order and paid basis.
         The scholarship is assigned to the following categories of students: winners of republican and international olympiads, creative competitions, sports competitions, festivals or who are the authors of discoveries, inventions; having publications in collections of scientific papers, in republican and international scientific journals; actively engaged in research work, the success of which is confirmed by diplomas, diplomas, certificates, certificates; taking an active part in the social, cultural and sports life of educational organizations.

The scholarship is awarded for one academic period.

The deadline for accepting documents for participation in the competition: from 01 to 09 January 2021 until 18.00.

    The list of required documents in the SSRC (2 building):

1. Application of a student on a paid basis addressed to the Chairman of the Board - Rector of M. Kozybayev NKU for participation in the competition for the award of educational vacant grants.
2. Student's transcript.
3. A copy (photo) of the student's identity document.
4. Copies of supporting documents: copies/photos of title pages of scientific papers, diplomas, diplomas, gratitude, certificates.

Awarding the grant of academician Manash Kozybayev (without granting a scholarship).

    In accordance with the Regulations on the Grant named after Academician Manash Kozybayev, approved at the meeting of the Academic Council of M. Kozybayev NKSU on April 26, 2018, Protocol No. 12, M. Kozybayev NKSU allocated 3 (three) grants for students and undergraduates studying on a paid basis.

Grant named after academician Manash Kozybayev grants students the right to study at the expense of the university. The purpose of the grant is to stimulate the interest of students and reward them for success in educational, scientific and social activities.

• The competition is open to students studying for the 2nd year and above; having marks only "excellent" (A, A-) and "good" (B +, B, B-) for the previous semester; having publications in magazines of international, republican level, materials of republican and international conferences, winners, prize-winners of the championships of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the world, Universiades, Olympiads, contests.
• Also, undergraduates studying for 1 course of 2 semesters and above can take part; having only excellent marks (A, A-) for the previous semester; having publications in magazines of international, republican level, materials of republican and international conferences, winners, prize-winners of the championships of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the world, Universiades, Olympiads, contests.

Students and undergraduates studying at the expense of enterprises, organizations, institutions and foundations do not participate in the competition for a grant named after Academician Manash Kozybayev.

Students who were previously holders of a grant named after Manash Kozybayev or a grant from the rector of M. Kozybayev NKSU  cannot participate in the competition for a grant named after Manash Kozybayev.

 The Grant Order is valid for the semester following the last session and does not apply to prior and subsequent semesters.
In case of a gross violation of academic discipline during the term of the grant
the student may be deprived of the grant from the moment of violation. The decision to revoke a grant is made by the rector on the proposal of the director of the institute/dean of the faculty.
The deadline for accepting documents for participation in the competition: from 01 to 09 January 2021 until 18.00.

1. Application of a student on a paid basis addressed to the Chairman of the Board - Rector of M. Kozybayev NKU for participation in the competition for the award of educational vacant grants.

4. Copies of supporting documents: copies / photos of title pages of scientific papers, diplomas, diplomas, gratitude, certificates.

Awarding a grant from the rector of M. Kozybayev NKSU (without granting a scholarship).

            In accordance with the Regulations on the Grant of the Rector of M. Kozybayev NKSU, approved at the meeting of the Academic Council of M. Kozybayev NKSU on April 26, 2018, Protocol No. 12, M. Kozybaev NKU allocated 7 (seven) grants for students and undergraduates studying at paid basis. The grant of the rector of the M. Kozybayev NKU grants the student the right to study at the expense of the university (without assigning a scholarship). The purpose of the grant is to stimulate student interest and reward academic success.

• The competition is open to students studying for the 2nd year and above; having grades only "excellent" (A, A-) and "good" (B +, B, B-) for the entire period of study, indicating the average score.
• Also, undergraduates studying for 1 course of 2 semesters and above can take part; having marks only "excellent" (A, A-) for the entire period of study with the indication of the average grade of progress (GPA). Under equal conditions in terms of academic performance, students from socially vulnerable groups of the population have a priority right.

Students and undergraduates studying at the expense of enterprises, organizations, institutions and foundations do not participate in the competition for a grant.

 The Grants Commission distributes one grant from the rector of M. Kozybayev NKSU to each faculty, with the exception of the “Foundation” faculty.

Students who were previously holders of a grant named after Manash Kozybayev or a grant from the rector of M. Kozybayev NKSU  cannot participate in the competition for a grant from the rector of M. Kozybayev NKSU.

The Grant Order is valid for the semester following the last session and does not apply to prior and subsequent semesters.
